First time home buyer, and neighbors Bank Joshua and Cecil were awesome to work with, they worked very hard at helping us through any issues that we came upon and very quick with getting it handled, they broke everything down step by step answering any and all questions I had and very satisfied with the outcome

I cannot say enough good things about Neighbors Bank and the entire team who helped me finally achieve a dream I've had for more than 10 years—owning my own homestead.This was definitely not a straightforward transaction. The property was unique and presented some unexpected appraisal, title, and financing challenges, and I had already experienced significant difficulties with other lenders. At several points, I wasn't sure if I would ever make it to the closing table.Then I worked with Neighbors Bank.The entire team was absolutely wonderful. They were patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and willing to work through the complexities rather than give up when things got difficult.I especially want to recognize **Cecil and Nathan**. Their communication and genuine commitment to helping me close made such a difference. Cecil went above and beyond—even texting me on Fridays just to reassure me, check in, and wish me a happy weekend. That kind of personal touch meant so much during what was an incredibly stressful process.They never made me feel like I was just another loan file. Josh and Austin were extremely helpful and they were able to answer any questions I had during the home buying process. They are great at communicating and kept in constant contact with me making sure I had everything ready that I needed. This was my first time buying a home and they made sure everything went smoothly I would highly recommend them to any friends or family members or anybody interested in buying a home.

It was too much drama! Once we found a house to buy, it was a constant and demanding daily from us over and over the same information! The loan officer really seemed to not know what she was doing, then she gets someone from underwriting to contact us, then they continued asking for the same information repeatedly! We were supposed to close in one month, it took almost 8 weeks to close! It was an FHA loan, and from day 1, I informed them of all our assets, then they proceeded to treat us like we were destitute! And with one bad remark on our credit report, they acted like we were dishonest! Mind you my credit score when it all started was 699, and my husbands was 654, once they hit that hard credit info our credit DROPPED like a bomb! Thank goodness for our realtor, who kept pushing and asking all the right questions and referred us to other lenders to make sure things were being done correctly! We finally closed on our house, late but it’s ours! We will be refinancing in 6 months but with another bank! We do not recommend this bank and I regret ever applying with them!

I personally didn't think buying a house was an option for me. Started the process thinking it wouldn't work. Neighbors bank staff really made it happen for me! The process takes a little bit of time and you have to stay on top of everything, but it all works out for the better!

loan officers Taylor Hoff, who was the first person I come in contact with! Taylor, stayed visible on and off the clock- I never felt like she forgot about my husband and I! She knew just where we were at all times; as well as, made sure anyone coming after her knew just how to keep the ball rolling! Chad Werner and Max Humpf, and I became neighbors via email messages and Affirm Truth Disclosures…😅 Omg! I’ll tell anybody, make sure your Affirm Disclosures are organized and ready to go! The majority of my were paid off- that wasn’t the problem… The problem was uploading and organizing a thousand of the according to loan amount, or paid off date, or … Whatever… Just or!😅 Anyway it was a challenge for me that I couldn’t resist- just ask Max Humpf about it! That guy was super cool, he had a smile on his voice, that kept me in the race for Closure! While Chad was the man who understands well- how to EXECUTE THE PLAN- and keep you feeling like you made a good choice with Neighbors Bank!! He even kept speaking to me while being just hours away to closing- CHAD WAS THERE!!!😃✨🎉🎊🥳 Chad I’m coming back when the rates drop- keep us in the loop as you promised!!
