Neighbors Bank worked with me to bring my credit score up. They helped me get pre approved for my home loan with an amount that gave me many options as to what size home I was able to find. They were very helpful in answering my questions and helping me get where I needed to be while purchasing my home. Melissa Janke and Logan Moore were fantastic to work with and provided outstanding service throughout the entire process. While I went into the home purchase process knowing my situation was likely to be above average in difficulty, they did not scoff one bit and truly made me feel as though my home purchase and getting to closing was as important to them as it was to me. Dealing with Neighbors Bank for my first home purchase was a great experience. They explained in detail on all of my questions and was very communicative with us throughout all the way through closing. They kept in contact even throughout the holidays and even though we was not able to close on the scheduled day, they were still helpful in getting it pushed to closing while having the information correct. The only suggestion I can give is as a first time homebuyer, more educational tools would be helpful. There were a lot of unforeseen fees that may be normal in the process but were unexpected with a new homebuyer. Having a more structured document with the expectations upfront would be extremely helpful.
