Home buying is brutal and time consuming. Be prepared. Melissa helped with that.

Working with Neighbors bank was a huge mistake. Yes things got taken care of in the end. but it wasn't without a fight. The Good Lord saw me through the whole thing. From the very beginning I was asked to down load their app to "make things easier" I ended up using the web browser to upload everything asked of me. which wasn't a huge deal. but I was asked to upload the same document multiple times. thing that should have been asked for weeks prior to my closing date were only requested the day of, to two day prior to closing day. I even had to push back the closing date because of this matter. I wasn't able to take possession of my home after signing. The other realtor came into the room to give me the keys to my new home and the lady from the title company told him "the lenders won't send the funds." So I didn't even get the keys to my house till three days after signing for it. I don't know why Neighbors bank wouldn't send the funds on the day of closing. there was A LOT I didn't know or understand and noone from Neighbors Bank would explain or help me understand. I was told three diffrent amounts to bring to closing. I was told to bring a cashier's check so I kinda needed to know the EXACT amount. which I didn't get untill 10minutes before my scheduled appointment time with the title company on closing day. So many people hand there hands in my file I couldn't keep it straight. Lee went on leave. so someone stepped in to cover him. then Rachael was out of office so someone completely diffrent stepped in to work in here place. I felt like I was getting passed around and being told diffrently by everyone to spoke with. When I was expressing that I needed comunication from them. Rachael shot back at me with "I tried calling you dont anser you phone." This was after I've expressed myself multiple times that I can not answer my phone calls at work and they will need to contact be between such and such hours or email/text me. My realtor informed them the same thing. Yet, Phone calls were the method of contact. knowing I can not take that call. there was so much wrong with this whole "adventure."
