I cannot believe the level of attention and customer service Neighbors Bank has giving me. I had to close on my new home in 30 days to meet the contract agreement with the developer. They had my application, pre approval down within hours! Every question or concerns were answered immediately. The entire team from start to closing was amazing and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the entire team. They made the whole process feel smooth and manageable. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive partner when buying a home.

Ended up closing a week and half before project closing date. Answer questions the day I asked mostly through e mail in person if I needed it.

I don’t know honestly where to begin on the process with this bank. They have great reviews and that’s why we went with them. But no don’t ever use them. When I tell you the amount of stupid documents that had to be sent over at least 5 different times. They pushed back our closing due to a stupid tax payment that we provided proof 3 different times and stated verbally that it was a tax pay back and they still thought we were lying stating it was a debt that we had to pay. So I would definitely stay clear of them.

I can’t say enough about this company! They have made a dream come true for my husband and I. We started our adventure with Kayce smith. She was our credit consultant. She helped us figure out if we could get a loan and got us started on our adventure. Then we met Becca Bailey our loan officer. Once we were preapproved, she helped us fine tune our offer to what we wanted so we didn’t look at things until we knew what we could buy. Then we met our realtor, Nikki Scudiero with Atrium realty. She wa with us the whole step of the way. She calmed our fears, she went to battle for us and she even helped me play a little fun prank on my husband (it was the best). Once we made an offer we met her transaction coordinator, Kristen Glossy and the senior loan officer Tim Vieck and the loan coordinator, Tyler Grace. These three helped to do all the communicating and finalized all the steps. We were able to stay in constant contact with all parties to this point with a group text and email. No stone was left unturned and of there was any type of question, this team was one it with answers and solutions. Finally we were down to underwriting, here we met Sarah Thomas and Stephanie Smith with Island Title & Escrow agency. They worked with our loan coordinator and our transaction coordinator to clear the title and complete the survey and appraisal that was needed as well as answer any questions. Finally but not least there was our inspector Daniel Clement’s with Clement’s home inspection. He took the time to walk through each step of the inspection and answer any questions we had. When it was time to ensure we met Denton Yorkirons with Brightway insurance and he helped us find the best low cost homeowners insurance.This company and its team is the place to be when you want to take a step towards a homeowners journey! I wouldn’t complete this journey with anyone else! This is the number one A team! My husband and I couldn’t have done it without any one of them!Thank you all for our dream come true!

John Gallagher was very helpful and easy to work with and amazing to talk with to understand my options, I unfortunately can’t say the same about the rest of the team. Lindsey and Marissa were extremely hard to get ahold of when I or my realtor needed them. They didn’t answer their contact numbers and made it almost impossible to close on the home. I received feedback from both the title company AND my realtor at their lack of communication with them and the lack information that should’ve been shared with me. The underwriter that was assigned (no name provided) was very inefficient and caused quite a bit of delay with the title company and myself with the necessary documents needed - multiple times on occasion and balancing the closing documents with the title company was delayed due to lack of communication.

The loan officer and loan coordinator were fine to work with. The underwriters however? That is another story. We would be asked for many versions of the same thing several times over. They would ask for these up to three days before closing. They were not prepared by the 1st closing date (either were the sellers). We felt pretty crazy by the end. Even though we were able to close, I would not recommend the stress and the mess. A remark from the Title team at closing: "I have never seen a stack of papers that are basically several versions of the same thing needing to be signed by borrowers." Perhaps things are different for banks with "in-house underwriters". Honestly, it felt like they wanted you so exhausted so close to the end that you would just sign anything.

Being asked for the same documents repeatedly—especially so close to closing—and experiencing delays is understandably frustrating. You should have felt confident and supported, not overwhelmed at the finish line.
